Duo Aki

Blending tradition and innovation, Duo Aki, comprised of Eden Annesley and Lola, offer a mesmerising performance that bridges Australia and Japan. Featuring violin, saxophone, shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute) and live looping, their show before/now/after combines music and visual storytelling in an exploration of time, identity and place.

Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse

Be captivated by the beautiful Noongar language of Western Australia through the music of multi-award-winning duo Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse. Celebrated six times as Indigenous Act of the Year at the WA Music Industry Awards, their songs connect audiences to the rich cultural heritage of Australia's First Nations peoples.
LIOR

Renowned for his soulful voice and poetic lyrics, singer-songwriter LIOR will perform acoustic sets across three weeks at the pavilion, starting this week. Don’t miss the chance to experience his moving live performances in the intimate setting of the pavilion stage.

Featuring vibrant designs and powerful storytelling, “Ancestral Futures – Looking Back to Look Forward” runway showcase from Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair Foundation and Indigenous Fashion Projects brings together culture and couture in a striking visual presentation.

Experience the thrill of Aussie Rules Football with AFL Japan! Visitors can take part in interactive handball demonstrations and catch engaging screen content that introduces the game to new fans. A must-see for sports lovers of all ages.
Meet the pavilion mascots

Keep an eye out for our loveable mascots, Ruby the Roo and Koko the Koala, as they hop and wander around the Australia Pavilion! Ruby, our friendly kangaroo, is the official face of Australia at World Expo 2025 Osaka. Right beside her is Koko, a curious and cuddly koala from Queensland, bringing the charm of Australia’s unique wildlife to life. Whether they’re greeting guests, joining in on events or posing for selfies, Ruby and Koko are here to share high-fives, hugs and lots of Aussie cheer.
