Hannah Macklin

July 1 - 10 each day at 6:00pm and 7:30pm

Hannah Macklin brings a soulful, genre-bending sound to the stage with nightly performances at the Australia Pavilion. Drawing on jazz, R&B, and world influences, Hannah’s rich vocals and innovative compositions will transport you to another world.

Hannah will also take up the bass guitar to perform her newest body of work; steeped in themes of Dreaming, nature, regeneration, God, love and the cosmos. Joined by Brandon Mamata on guitar and accompanied by organic and meticulously crafted beats, the duo create a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere.

A dynamic Australian vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from Meanjin (Brisbane), Hannah is a well-accomplished artist (vocalist, writer, performer) and producer/creative director who has been creating and performing original music, performance and video, as well as educating and collaborating with a remarkable array of people for over a decade.

A graduate of the QLD Conservatorium of Music (Jazz Voice), her vocal and musical stylings are influenced by not only jazz, but also R&B/soul, progressive, electronic and world music.
