BBC Studios at World Expo 2025 Osaka
As part of its partnership with the Australia Pavilion at World Expo 2025 Osaka, BBC Studios will be bringing worldwide phenomenon and Emmy® Award-winning children’s animation ‘Bluey’ to life through a number of activities over the duration of the Expo.

Since launching in Australia in 2018, ‘Bluey’ has gained millions of fans around the globe and was the number one most streamed children’s show last year in the US with a viewing time of 56 billion minutes. Created and written by Joe Brumm and produced by the multiple Emmy® Award-winning Ludo Studio, ‘Bluey’ is widely lauded for its heartfelt and funny portrayal of family life and celebration of play.
The series follows Bluey, a loveable, inexhaustible, blue heeler dog, who lives with her Mum, Dad and her little sister, Bingo. Bluey uses her limitless energy to play games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways, bringing her family and the whole neighbourhood into her world of fun.
BBC Studios and partners at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs as well as Trade and Tourism and Events Queensland will be bringing ‘Bluey’ to life with live games of the popular ‘Keepy Uppy’, stage shows, meet and greets and of course the ‘Bluey’ concert.

From Sophia Spinelli, VP Brands & Licensing BBC Studios

“I would like to thank the Australia Pavilion team for the opportunity to showcase one of the most popular children’s shows in the world and one of BBC Studios’ most loved IP’s ‘Bluey’. ‘Bluey’ launched in Japan on TV Tokyo in late 2024 and due to the huge response, we have recently expanded onto 6 of their national platforms and so what better time to bring this lovable Blue Heeler to life for hundreds of thousands of Japanese audiences. We’re thrilled to partner with The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as well as Tourism and Events Queensland who truly understand the unique and wonderful magic of ‘Bluey’. We can’t wait to see the reaction!”
