This April, something very special is happening at the Australia Pavilion, and families won’t want to miss it. Bluey, the loveable Blue Heeler dog from Australia’s award-winning animated series, is heading to World Expo 2025 Osaka, and she’s bringing her favourite game with her: Keepy Uppy! The goal is simple - don’t let the balloon touch the ground!
From Queensland to Osaka

The game became a real-life sensation in Queensland in 2024, when over 700 fans across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Cairns set a world record for the biggest game of Keepy Uppy. Now, it’s Japan’s turn to join in the fun as the game bounces its way to Osaka.
Across the weekend of 26–27 April, families can get involved in the action, taking part in Keepy Uppy sessions at the pavilion. Bluey-themed prizes are also up for grabs, with sessions open to all ages, so parents, don’t be shy!
Throughout the Expo, the Australia Pavilion will be a hub of Bluey-themed fun, packed with events, performances and activities made for families to enjoy together.

With daily events, character appearances and opportunities for children to play and explore, the Australia Pavilion is a must-visit family-friendly space .
We look forward to seeing you at the Australia Pavilion!
