21-25 July - 5:30pm and 7:00pm

27 July - 7:00pm

Australian-Japanese singer-songwriter Alisa brings her powerful voice, delicate emotion and bold, genre-blurring pop music to the Australia Pavilion stage. Accompanied by guitarist Zack Auslander, Alisa will perform a mix of original music and songs by iconic Australian artists.

With a strong local following and a heartwarming sound, Alisa embodies the spirit of cultural exchange at World Expo 2025 Osaka.

Alisa spent her early years in Japan before moving to Victoria, Australia at age eight. Her breakthrough came in 2018 when her song "Walls" was handpicked as the theme for Yukihiko Tsutsumi’s drama series SICK’S.

She shot to international recognition as Angela in Netflix’s Carole and Tuesday, a role that led to electrifying live performances alongside DJ Steve Aoki at Ultra Japan in 2019.

In 2021, Alisa released her two-part EP BOUNDARIES, featuring “Tell Me I'm Broken,” chosen as the image song for the film Joshikousei ni Korosaretai, starring Kei Tanaka. Her debut album Pending, released in December 2023, takes listeners on
an emotional journey with haunting vulnerability and a sense of strength. The album features "Bleed My Heart," the ending theme for the Fuji TV anime Kami Erabi, directed by Hiroyuki Seshita.

With 2025 on the horizon, Alisa is ready to flip the script once again —bringing a fearless new sound to the global stage.
